Australian Celtic Festival Stalls

The Australian Celtic Festival is held from the 2-5 May 2019. Stall holders will be required to set up Friday 3 May and ready for trading Saturday 4th May by 9am. Stall holders can also trade for the concert on Friday night. We especially encourage food traders to be open at this time. Traders are not to pack up before 4pm on Sunday 5 May. Please note a minimum of $20 million public liability is required for all stall holders and clans. Please note we have a non refunds policy.

he Australian Celtic Festival is renowned as the premier Celtic event of New South Wales. It is the only Celtic themed festival in Australia to recognise different Celtic Nations each year and have the unique atmospheric benefit of being located at the nationally acclaimed Australian Standing Stones. Each year up to twenty different Clans and representatives from the six Celtic nations turn out in force to hold their annual Celtic ceremonies and spectacles'.

An Action-Packed Program

The Australian Celtic Festival is held from Thursday through to Sunday on the first week of May each year.  Over the four-day festival there is close to 200 individual events, most of which are held at the Australian Standing Stones from Friday night until Sunday afternoon. To commence the festival, Thursday night's "100,000 Welcomes" gives a taster of the weekends' performances and the non-stop entertainment and activities until Sunday evening's farewell concert.

Something for Everyone

Each year we review our program to ensure it has something for everyone - from Celtic music and poetry performances by both Australian and international artists to our prestigious awards and competitions including: the Australian Celtic Music Awards; Australian Celtic Dance Championships; Australian Celtic Fashion Awards and Australian Celtic Busking Awards.

Alongside music and dance our entertainment program includes a street parade, re-enactment groups, Celtic Strongman event, Kirking of the Tartan, massed pipe bands, children's entertainment, combined schools' concerts, boutique stalls including themed food and beverages, poets breakfast souvenirs, merchandise, and a fun run.

The 2019 Festival will honour Scotland and will run from Thursday 2nd May to Sunday 5th May.
